I think M.C. Escher's artwork is the greatest. His perception was amazing. He really had a very unique look at the world around him. Yep. He's the greatest.

Well, darlings - I'd say that Derringer's comments below, pretty much, say it all about Escher and his fantastic artwork.... Be sure to check this book out.

(*M.C. Escher quote*) - "We adore chaos because we love to produce order."

Of all the many brilliant artists who have come and gone over the centuries - M.C. Escher is, by far, one of my very favourite of them all. And, while looking through this excellent book, it's so easy to see why his work is so timeless and so fascinating.

Originally from the Netherlands - Maurits Cornelis Escher (born June 17, 1898) was a fantastic graphic artist who made mathematically inspired woodcuts, lithographs, and mezzotints. He is, without question, one of the world's most famous artists. To this day - His art is enjoyed by millions of people all over the world, as can be seen on the many websites on the internet.

Escher is most celebrated for his "so-called" impossible constructions, such as Ascending and Descending, Relativity - As well as his Transformation Prints, such as Metamorphosis I, Metamorphosis II and Metamorphosis III, Sky & Water I and Reptiles. But he also produced some wonderful, more realistic work during the time he lived and travelled in Italy.

On March 27, 1972 - M.C. Escher died at the age of 74..... (*Watch "3-D Animation" video-clip*)

A great set of the works of Escher; interesting, playful, altogether enjoyable.
