## Comment

Add a CommentDon't let the title mislead. Yes this book discusses Einstein's mathematical and physics mistakes in relationship with the mathematics and physics knowledge and tools available at the time. However, this book does cover the background of physics leading up to Einstein's day including concepts of relativity, atomic theory, light, as well mathematical concepts including geometric modeling and tensors - all eventually useful for Einstein's work. As the author is a physist, he places each of Einstein's accomplishments and mistakes in context. And indeed some of Einstein's mistakes, such as the cosmological constant, turned out to be inspiring.
