3 Volumes in and the story continues to be absolutely breath-taking and enticing.

This was my first foray into comics - that really helped revitalize my love of reading and art. An amazing saga, not only in name. This series must be read. Warning there is especially some NSFW content in this comic.

As we continue to follow Hazel and her parents journey across the universe; as they try to escape their home-planets governments. We get the opportunity to see more into the lives of the other characters, and fall even more in love with them along the way.

Another warning - a line from the first volume mentions that it's okay to 'kill your darlings'; deaths in this series are 'forever' deaths - be prepared to cry. There is no superhero type revival - no matter how hard you wish for it, and especially in these upcoming volumes.

I can't fully explain the wholly awesomeness that is the Saga series. Brian K. Vaughan is a genius - every series he is involved in is great.

Such good writing.

I dunno guys, sometimes there aren't words, sometime you just have to say "I CANT EVEN" and "WHAT IS AIR?" and hope that how much you loved something comes across.

There are only three forms of high art: the symphony, the illustrated children's book and the board game.

All good children's stories are the same: young creature breaks rules, has incredible adventure, then returns home with the knowledge that aforementioned rules are there for a reason.

Of course, the actual message to the careful reader is: break rules as often as you can, because who the hell doesn't want to have an adventure?

“There's always money in conflict."

"Says the diehard peacenik?"

"Oh, I abhor real violence, but fake violence is f***ing brilliant.”

Here's the thing, everybody loves babies . . . but only in very, VERY small doses.
